Saint Casimir

Casimir (1458 – 1484) was the son of the King of Poland. For a short time, at age fifteen, he led the army of Hungary against their enemies. After that experience, Casimir decided never to become involved in any war again. And this he did faithfully. Though he served as King of Poland for a short time, he lived a prayerful and ascetical life until his death. May Casimir’s intercession help to bring all peoples to live in peace and justice. What action will you take today to bring peace to your home and workplace?
