The Annunciation

Today we celebrate the feast of the Annunciation, when Mary proclaimed to the Angel Gabriel words which we each need to express in our journey with God: “Be it done to me according to Your will.” Reflect on what Jeanne Chézard de Matel, Foundress of the Order of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, wrote about this mystery: “Mary is our victory. She has drawn the Word down to earth from the Most High, and Christ became subject to this Mother who has believed in the divine promises. Everything was perfectly fulfilled in her.” In every moment today, let our YES to God be on our lips and in our hearts.
